Adaptive Technology Training

DLS offers individual and ⁄ or small group classes to teach students the basics of learning technology. Proficient use of the Adaptive Technology can make the difference between completing writing assignments and avoiding them. Classes are offered in the summer – individual sessions are offered year-round. Voice recognition, dictation software (text-to-speech) and keyboarding skills are taught at a basic level and then integrated into homework assignment completion, research paper completion and narrative fiction writing.
