Educational and Speech Therapy
We offer individualized programs for individuals who have difficulty due to variations in the way they learn. Educational and speech therapists identify the appropriate learning style and remediation program, and work to ensure client success. Individual programs facilitate the development of motor, perceptual, language and conceptual abilities. When appropriate, structured language instruction helps to build the fundamental underpinnings of academic skill development. Instruction builds upon learning strengths and helps students compensate for areas of difficulty. DLS is dedicated to helping all students reach their academic potential.
Educational and speech therapists work one-on-one with students during 50-minute sessions once or twice each week. They plan each session to develop the student's academic skills.
