A DLS Assessment Focuses on the Whole Person
An assessment provides meaningful insight into the whole learner, resulting in more effective strategies for achievement. Our approach yields a more in-depth analysis using a standard battery of tests.
Differences in learning or processing information can obscure an individual’s true potential; thus a full learning assessment is especially important.
DLS has conducted over 2,500 educational assessments, intentionally moving away from the typical strengths and weaknesses model that can overlook important aspects of a learner. With incisive observation, close analysis of learning history, interviews and surveys of parents, teachers, and professionals, our comprehensive learning assessment report is a rich, valuable guide to individuals, parents, schools, and other professionals.

Assessment Options
DLS’s Developmental Educational Assessment analyzes processing and how it integrates with skill development and application of those skills, language. We unpack how a learner takes in information, makes it knowledge, and is able to express it. Discrepancies of learning abilities are included. A Fleming-Leib Integral Process Assessment combines our Developmental Educational Assessment with a psychological assessment to yield a full and complete picture including global problem-solving skills, often as they relate to emotional development and the person inside. Along with discrepancies of learning abilities, learning disorders/dysfunctions, and other disorders including ADHD, ASD, or anxiety may be diagnosed. |
